Bubbling Up and Down

Currently obsessed with this toy that I found at the shop called 'Nakano Ropeway' in
Nakano Broadway,Tokyo.

I ♥ Goner Records

The records and the T-shirt that I ordered from the Goner Records in Memphis were delivered last week. The 1st of May was Jay's b'day and they did all 10% off sale for the Jay's day.

We can find most records in Tokyo these days,I could say that Tokyo is the best place in the world to find any kinds of records from all over the world. So it's not necessary to order from the US spending such a big amount of postage, but I just wanted to do something on the Jay's day, so I bought a couple of 7" of the very cool bands from Memphis(Sharp Balloons/Sex Cult/Bake Sale),which I assume that we might not find in Tokyo(for now).

I really like the moment to open a parcel, especially when it's from a record shop, and even more when it's from the Goner records! The 7"s were wrapped up in the local news paper, which made me want to go back to Memphis.I love the way they do - simple and practical with the style and homemade, local feelings - They have sort of sharpness and warmth at the same time, and I think I could say the same thing for the bands whose records they've released, which I mostly liked a lot.

It's still very hard for me to listen to Jay's records(especially his solo works) and I can't put my feelings about him into words. But I think I need to visit where he is sleeping soon again.
